Who's Who
Our Saigon is a feature length documentary featuring Nhi Canh Trân, whose American name is Elaine. The film also features her California - born daughters - Jo, Iris and Jenny - as well as the dozens of relatives and friends they meet along the way on their epic journey.
Director
Craig Lowy
Craig is a film and theater director as well as a professor of Animation & Art History. His feature length documentary OXD \ One Extraordinary Day follows Elizabeth Streb’s Extreme Action Company as they prepare for a day of breathtaking dance performances in London. It premiered to a sold out crowd at DOC NYC and was named Documentary of the Week by WNYC. It was also the opening film for the Spring 2016 Stranger than Fiction series at IFC.
His moving documentary Our Saigon, about a Vietnamese refugee who returns home after a 30-year absence with her 3 California–born daughters has just been completed.
Notable stage productions he has directed include Gertrude Stein’s Doktor Faustus Lights the Lights and Alfred Jarry’s notorious Ubu Roi which the Soho News called “a refreshing slap in the face.”
He is currently at work on a documentary about the ethical compromises allowing Werner von Braun to lead the development of the first American rockets to reach outer space.

Yin Lu
Yin Lu is a film composer, music producer and orchestrator based in London with a passion for infusing classical, eastern minimalist music with contemporary electronic sounds. He studied at the Royal College of Music in the Composition for Screen masters course, and graduated with a first class degree in 2020.
Yin is the winner of the European Talent Award Honorary Mention 2020, and a member of the BAFTA Connect Programme. Since 2019, Yin has produced scores for feature films, documentaries, shorts, and animated films featured at Soundtrack Cologne, Encounters Film Festival, and Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film.
Yin's music for visual arts was also performed at the Tate Modern, Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall and Royal Academy of Arts.

ANIMATIONS
Fab Baffle
Fab Baffle has won awards for graphic design, film titles and motion graphics. Fab Baffle has designed opening titles and animations for TV shows appearing on The Sundance Channel, The History Channel, and PBS as well as too many independent films to count. In addition, Fab Baffle has also designed projections for Broadway musicals and Off Off Broadway plays.
This is Fab Baffle’s third collaboration on a film with Craig Lowy.
